Inground Pool Closing
The most important service of the year is the one that happens when you aren't swimming. Expanding ice can crack pipes, split filters, and destroy pumps in a single night — and most of the damage happens silently, underground, while your pool sits covered all winter. We lock it down tight so it wakes up healthy in the spring.
Water Level Management
We lower the water to the correct winterizing level to protect your skimmer and tile line from ice expansion damage.
The "Big Blowout"
Industrial high-volume air blowers — not shop vacs — purge every drop of water from your return lines, skimmers, main drains, and water features.
Plugging the Lines
Winter plugs and Gizzmos installed to seal all plumbing openings against water re-entry throughout the off-season.
Equipment Draining
Drain plugs pulled on your pump, filter, heater, and salt cell to ensure no trapped water freezes and cracks your equipment.
Winter Chemical Treatment
Heavy-duty algaecide and shock added to prevent staining, scale, and algae growth while the pool sits dormant all winter.
Cover Installation
Safety cover or tarp secured with springs and anchors adjusted for a tight, safe fit that holds through NEPA's harshest winter storms.
Industrial Equipment
A home air compressor can't clear deep plumbing lines. Our blowers guarantee the lines are completely dry.
Heater Protection
Pool heaters are complex and cold-sensitive. We know exactly how to drain the heat exchanger to prevent expensive cracks.
Peace of Mind
Sleep soundly during the first snowstorm knowing every line is dry and every plug is set.
Clean the Pool First. Please ensure the pool is vacuumed and free of leaves before we arrive. Closing a dirty pool almost guarantees a green, stained pool in the spring. Need a cleanup before closing? Schedule a separate vacuum visit and we'll take care of it.
Clear the Water. Remove all pool toys, thermometers, and floats from the water before our arrival.
Provide Access. Unlock the gate and make sure your winter cover is accessible — left on the pool deck works perfectly.
Worried about rising water levels during winter rains? Our Winter Watch service includes a mid-winter visit to pump water off your cover and verify the water level inside the pool hasn't risen high enough to contact the tile — which can cause cracking. Ask about adding Winter Watch when you book your closing.
Our closing schedule fills the moment the leaves start to change. Don't get caught scrambling when the first freeze warning hits.
