How the TurboCell Works
Salt chlorination works through a process called electrolysis. As pool water flows through the TurboCell, a low-voltage electrical charge passes between the cell's titanium plates, splitting salt (sodium chloride) molecules into chlorine gas — which immediately dissolves into the water as a sanitizing agent. Once it's done its job, the chlorine reverts back to salt and the cycle begins again. The result is a continuous, self-replenishing supply of pure chlorine with no manual dosing, no handling, and no sharp chemical odor.

Maintenance Tip — Keep Your Cell at 100% Efficiency: Inspect your TurboCell every 500 hours of operation. Calcium buildup on the titanium plates is the leading cause of reduced chlorine output. A simple soak in a 4:1 water-to-muriatic acid solution for 15–20 minutes removes scale and restores full plate exposure. Regular cleaning also extends cell life well beyond the 3-year warranty period. We offer
