What You Need for the Omni System

To get the most out of your AquaRite S3 Omni, ensure your pool pad meets these requirements:

• Wi-Fi or Ethernet: The system requires a reliable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal or an Ethernet connection to communicate with the OmniLogic app. The controller typically includes a 15 ft cord for the wireless radio, allowing you to mount it in a location with the best signal strength.

• Pump Compatibility: * Variable Speed (VSP): It controls Hayward VSPs natively via a digital RS-485 connection. It can also control Pentair VSPs with a separate converter kit.

  • Single Speed: If you have a single-speed pump, you must purchase a Hayward Smart Relay (HLH485RELAY) to enable control.

• Temperature Sensors: A water temperature sensor is required for heater control and is often sold separately. An air temperature sensor is needed if you want "freeze protection" automation.

• Genuine S3 Cells: The system is only compatible with genuine Hayward TurboCell S3 series cells (available for 15k, 25k, and 40k gallon pools).
