Most robotic cleaners are cordless in name only — they still require you to manage a floating cable, connect a control box, or dock the unit to charge before every use. The FREEDOM Plus is genuinely untethered. It runs on a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, charges on a caddy between uses, and cleans floor to waterline with no external pumps, no booster systems, and nothing connected to your pool equipment at all. Drop it in the water, choose your mode from the remote or the app, and come back to a clean pool. That's the whole process.

Targets the pool floor exclusively — dirt, debris, sand, and fine particles on the bottom. Fastest mode for a quick floor pass when the walls and waterline don't need attention.
Floor, Walls & Waterline
Full coverage from the floor up through the walls and all the way to the waterline in a single cycle. The go-to mode for a complete weekly clean or after any heavy debris event.
Waterline Only
Targets the waterline specifically — scrubbing away the scum line, algae, and mineral deposits that build up along the pool's edge. Use this between full cycles to keep the waterline sharp.
SMART Cycle
The FREEDOM Plus learns your pool's exact size and layout, then calculates the most efficient cleaning route and optimal cycle time — so it cleans your pool thoroughly without running longer than it needs to. App-activated via iAquaLink.
Long-Life Lithium-Ion Battery
The high-capacity lithium-ion battery delivers consistent cleaning power from the first minute to the last without fading performance. Up to 2.5 hours of runtime per charge — enough to complete a full clean cycle on any pool up to 50 ft.
Premium Outdoor Charging Caddy
The included charging caddy doubles as a transport handle and storage stand. Set the FREEDOM Plus in the cradle after each use and it locks into place with a beep confirming it's charging. Full charge in under 5 hours. Stores the unit off the ground and out of the way.
Double Helix Brush Design
Polaris' signature Double Helix brushes spiral in opposite directions, actively channeling debris inward toward the vacuum inlet as they scrub the surface. More debris collected per pass, stronger scrubbing action on algae and film, and less reliance on suction alone to do the work.
LiFi Underwater Remote Control
The FREEDOM Plus includes a handheld remote that uses LiFi light-based communication to control the cleaner while it's fully submerged. Start, stop, change direction, or deploy the Easy Lift system to bring the unit to the waterline — all without pulling the cleaner out of the water first.

NavTech™ Smart Navigation
The NavTech navigation system maps your pool in real time, senses obstacles, stairs, and corners, and optimizes its cleaning path to reduce overlap and maximize coverage. Auto surface detection adjusts speed and suction as the unit transitions between floor, walls, and waterline.
Track Wheel Drive System
Continuous treaded tracks give the FREEDOM Plus maximum traction on every pool surface — including sloped walls, curved coves, and slippery tile. Better traction means stronger suction contact with the surface and cleaner results on every pass.
Large Transparent Filter Canister
The oversized transparent filter canister lets you see how much debris has been collected before you even pull the unit out. No bags — just remove the canister, shake out the debris, spray it with a hose, and reinstall. Takes about 60 seconds.
Auto Low-Battery Surface Return
When the battery runs low mid-cycle, the FREEDOM Plus automatically navigates to the pool wall and rises to the waterline for easy retrieval — so you're never fishing it off the deep-end floor when the battery dies unexpectedly.
One of the standout features of the FREEDOM Plus is how easy it is to get out of the pool. As it reaches the waterline, water quickly evacuates from the unit — so when you lift it out it weighs almost nothing. Three retrieval options:
LiFi Remote
Press the Easy Lift button on the handheld remote. The cleaner climbs to the waterline while still underwater and waits for you to grab it. Fastest and most convenient method.
End-of-Cycle Waterline Return
At the end of any cleaning cycle, the FREEDOM Plus automatically climbs to the waterline and parks there — sending a push notification to the app so you know it's ready to grab.
Tap & Lift with Pool Pole
Tap the unit with your pool pole and it climbs to the waterline on its own. A manual retrieval hook is also included for grabbing the unit from the water at any time.
