When should I open my pool?

We reccomend to open your pool in the Spring. End of April/ early May is the usual peak time, but it is also weather depending. The goal for every pool is to be crystal clear & swimming for Memorial Day Weekend. 

When should I close my pool?

We like to see our customers get the most out of the pool season. The usual time is a week or so after Labor Day, weather depending. But it isn't unusal to see nice weather go into October. The sweet spot is before the leaves start to fall and the weather gets below freezing temperatures.

Is converting to Salt Water a good idea considering the Pennsylvania Weather?

Salt Water systems run in the thousands for start up, but do save you year after year in chemicals for the pool season. We do notices less issues with pool chemistry with salt water pools. But do keep in mind that if your pool has metal in it or around it, the salt water does deteriorate the metal, if not properly taken care of. We highly reccomend discussing with one of our pool professionals before scheduling a switch from chlorine tablets to a Salt Water System.
